June Lockhart<\/strong> (Susannah Wesley), is a television and film legend. growing up in the industry, Lockhart made her film debut opposite her parents in a film version of A Christmas Carol<\/em> in 1938 at the age of eight. She also played supporting parts in films including Meet Me in St. Louis<\/em> with Judy Garland, Sergeant York<\/em>, All This, and Heaven Too<\/em> and The Yearling<\/em>. She starred in She-Wolf of London<\/em> (1946). For an entire generation she was the quintessential \u201cTV mom\u201d from her roles in the series Lassie<\/em> and Lost in Space<\/em>. Ms. Lockhart brings her enormous strength of performance to the role of John and Charles\u2019 mother. Susannah played a pivotal role in shaping the spiritual lives of both John and Charles Wesley, and is often regarded as an example of strong spiritual motherhood during a period not always friendly to strong women. \u201cWe were overjoyed to have June in the movie,\u201d said director John Jackman. \u201cShe was a delight to work with. Her personality and tremendous acting experience brought depth to the important role of Susannah.\u201d<\/p>\n June is a self-avowed “news hound” and loves to stay up-to-date.
